Sinopsis
On the night of December 24th, two children sneak out of their bedroom in the hope of seeing 'Santa Claus' when he visits them. When he appears in their living room, they ask him what he does during the rest of the year. So Santa proceeds to tell them all about the Land of Winter, where he lives, the creatures that live there, and how he and his helpers make toys for children all over the world.
SANTA CLAUS, photographed in the wilds of Alaska, tells the story of the man-in-the-red-suit and what it takes to prepare for his yearly one-day trek around the world. It is an admittedly usual low-budget production yet fascinating to watch, bookended by references to THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
Comentarios
A half-hour Santa tale shot in Alaska in 1925 by Frank E. Kleinschmidt, where we get to know what Santa Claus does when he's not bringing kids presents. More a weird film then a funny one. Has got some nice footage of animals and some fairies dancing for the old man, but I felt this film was more strange then anything else.
